Written by: Kathy Dalsaso

Join one of Zara Tours Adventures' Set Group Departures treks and safaris to experience the Full Moon in Tanzania. Whether you are a single or group, this is an exciting way to get busy with your bucket list.

Below is the Fall Full Moon date for planning your adventure. Depart on Rongai Group Trek September 1, to summit on September 6, 2017 - $1,776 per person

To Summit Mt. Kilimanjaro on a cloudless evening is an unforgettable experience, seeing the glaciers glow in the light of a full moon. The summit attempt starts before midnight in order to reach the summit at sunrise. A summit attempt during a full moon can make the evening climb brighter, as well, the bright sky can further enhance the whole experience, as the moonlight provides spectacular views of Kibo from most of the overnight camps.

If a summit of Kilimanjaro is not your dream, a Serengeti safari may be on the list somewhere! This is the place to see the Big 5, and endless countryside filled with animals and beauty. Experience it with Set Group Departure during the Fall Full Moon.

Depart Group 5-Day Safari October 3, with a full moon experience on October 5, 2017 - $1,518 per person
